I deleted all or part of spreadheet. 

In google sheets there is a auto backup system you can restore it. Or you can start a new file.

Recovery of Deleted Checkbox

You can insert checkbox from menu above. Checkbox is not a function or part of a function. It is same as writing “False” or “True” text to that cell.
